Champagne and open fire make a night to remember. Snuggle Hollows by Dralina@Three Springs
Welcome to our list of entrants for the Dimensions Challenge: Valentine’s Day. Four entries were received for the 500 item class so I will declare a winner for this section. Unfortunately, only one entry was received for the 200 item class so there will be no competition for this section.
The theme for this challenge is Valentine’s Day, a day for evoking feelings of romance, love, desire and devotion. Three entrants chose to go with the date as a basis for their presentation. I’m amazed how dimensions built around a similar theme have such different personalities. The fourth entrant has a simple message. “Take time to sit in beauty”. A message relevant to us all. Ah, that elusive +1 recommending a dimension to the public. It seems that the more votes a dimension has, the more it receives while equally excellent dimensions lower in the field struggle to be noticed. This regular series looks at the best a shard has to offer – with one condition – the dimension is not already in the top 10 on the shard. Anyone can find the top 10 but ferreting out those lesser known gems for appreciation is a job for the incorrigible dimension-hopper.
I’ve picked the recommended dimensions for their style, innovation or entertainment value; they all have that elusive quality that made me go wow! This post, I recommend under-appreciated dimensions on Threesprings. Continue Reading
It’s the trending thing, the new black; everyone’s posting a youtube of their dimension. This time on Around the Internet, we’re taking a discerning look at dimension videos.
Dimensions of the Rich and Famous
Dimensions of the Rich and Famous is a continuing series interviewing dimensioneers about their dimensions. This first episode talks to Spyderpigz@Deepwood about his creation process. Unfortunately, I’ve seen no other publicity regarding this series, so this may be it’s first and only episode.
Mystery item – new item or an old one cleverly used? ‘Gayme On Inn’ by Gayme On, Faeblight
Hello folks. Welcome to 2013, the year of Dimensions!
I’ve had a lovely restful few days. I’ve caught up with friends and family, visited a few (hundred) dimensions and prepared articles and snippets for the weeks ahead. I hope your holidays were just as relaxing and enjoyable.
As a welcome back, I thought I’d start you off with a bit of a brain teaser. What are the pink things featured in our picture right? When I saw them, I thought I’d discovered a new dimension item. Yay, we need more funny, pink things, right?. Nope, I was tricked, it’s a clever use of an old item. Can you guess what this is?
Christmas Tree, Aerial Storm Castle by Gabriael, Greybriar
I was scouring through the blog’o’sphere the other day when I came across this post by Loise. Oh boy, did that post resonate with me! Dimensions can be such time sinks. I know I spend hours placing objects just right in my dimensions. In fact, I’ve placed over 1600 items, just right. Another great time sink is visiting dimensions. And blogging about them. I love visiting other dimensions and seeing what people are up to. I’m such a stickybeak. I can spend hours poking around and never notice how time flies by. Put your hand up if your toon has reached sixty. My, that’s a veritable forest of hands! Continue Reading
