Bylhix the carnival bartender has been partying a little hard.
I’m all excited for March 29th (I was more excited when the release date was March 1st) and the new dimension items scheduled for release with patch 4.1. Wandering around on the public test shard has revealed a few new dimension related items that may be coming with patch 4.1 or the Carnival of the Ascended, now scheduled for March 30.
First off, the Mystery Box: Imperial Wonders is replaced by Mystery Box: Wonders of Alittu. Inflation has also hit the mystery boxes, as the cost has risen from 350 to 400 credits. The new boxes contain the Key to Dimension: Alittu (See Dimensions Gallery for pictures). Your chance of the dimension key dropping is 8.1% or one every twelve* boxes should have a key (remember random chance may have you opening more or less than eight for the key). The average number of items is 5.25 per box. Continue Reading
Radish bands together with these adorable corgis to face Silverwood’s Instant Adventures.
Oh the news is all over the forums, the Dreamweaver profession is on the PTS for dimensioneers to test. While everyone else was oohing and ahhing over the amazing sights associated with dreamweaving, I braved Silverwood’s Instant adventures alone to discover if the expected Fae Yule dimension items were on the vendor.
I slogged through the Fae Yule Instant Adventures, along with my trusty corgi friends, and was rewarded by the appearance of Eli Wyllyce at the Fae Yule village outside Sanctum. He is carrying the goodies we can expect on the live shards after the patch tomorrow. Continue Reading
Trion have hidden two dimension vendors behind a couple of quest chains and a boss fight. The additional dimension item vendors are the Nug quartermaster, Nifo, and the Biofoundry merchant, Ulsar Grendorian.
Boggling Fishing Rack, Bogling Lampost and Bogling Stump are all available from Nifo the Nug Vendor
To access the Nug goodies, you must complete two quest chains, one in the Seratos Nug village and one in the Morban Nug Village. Completing both allows you to see the Nug Quartermaster in each village (they sell the same goodies). I completed the Seratos quest chain at level 55 and it may be available at lower levels. It looks like the Morban quest chain is not available till you finish the Seratos chain and reach level 56, though this does need testing. The nearest porticulum to the Nug village is The Hollow, if you do not have the Nug Village porticulum.
The quest giver for Seratos, Na Ru, can be found in the Nug Village, coordinates 10945, 3535. If you can’t see Na Ru, he sometimes hides under the huts. This quest chain can be completed solo at level 55 (there will be a lot of deaths in your future), but you may want to bring in the heavy guns (i.e. higher level friends) when it comes time to collect the medicinal plants, as killing the Grafted Horror gives an achievement. As a nice bonus, the Nugs will know your name after you finish this chain. Continue Reading
