Once you have completed the artifact set for Circuit Diagram, you’ll need nine of ‘A Bar of Hair Covered Soap’ to purchase the book from Omi. The bars of soap are available from Arcanum Conservatory in Steppes of Infinity; nearest porticulum is Zerzala.
In the middle of the Conservatory, is a tunnel leading down, entrance at 15448, 7188. Take a left turn when the tunnel branches, it should lead to a water filled passage. Swim down the tunnel and keep going down, down, down. It is possible to get to the bottom in one breath.
When you reach the end of the tunnel, you’ll be awarded the achievement ‘Deep Learning’ and be greeted by an empty room and a sparkling lever. Pulling the lever will start you on a chain of three quests. Once the quests are finished, the room will fill with devolved squatters. At frequent random intervals, the devolved squatters will drop a bar of hair covered soap. Pick it up before it dissolves.
The soap does not sparkle and is hard to spot on the grey floor. The best way to get to the soap before it dissolves, is position yourself so you can see the maximum number of squatters at once, then wait to see a chat box appear above the head of the squatter dropping the soap. Hand in the soap and collection of pages to Omi in Tempest Bay, buy the Circuit Diagram book and learn it. You’re now ready to tackle the puzzle itself.
The Circuit Diagram puzzle is located at Cassana Estate in Argent Domain at 5874, 10714 (where the M’doidoi doll run starts for those who’ve already done the Bogling Star Signs). To solve the puzzle, connect the same coloured balls together without the path crossing another path. Start by clicking on a coloured ball and you’ll see that the four blank dots around the ball sparkle. Click on the one in the direction you want the path to go and keep clicking till the path is completed. The solution is shown pictured right.
This puzzle does not reward a dimension item rather a fun item that turns the player into a coloured orb on a half hour cooldown.
While this write up is based on my own experience doing the puzzle, I used these references as a guide:-
