This post will not make much sense if you have not yet read ‘Requiem For The Radish Inn‘. Read that post first.
It’s been a day since I wrote ‘Requiem For The Radish Inn’ and four days since the Inn was deleted. The only way I know to recover from such disappointment is to move through it into the future. In consolation for my loss, there is a certain freedom that comes with starting afresh.
For starters, do I want to re-buy the guild version of the Stone Flask Tavern? Discovering how easy it was to delete a guild dimension has kinda put me off another one. Now, with the BOA items that can not be placed in guild dimensions, I’m wondering if I’d be better with a personal Tavern. Nor am I sure I need the 1500 item limit that comes with a guild version. I’m betting there were close to 500 items that could have been successfully trimmed from the Inn, things like the aerial maze. It was fun but it spread the special scenes across a large space, often diluting the effect.
Come to think of it, I can buy anything I want now. Do I even want the Stone Flask Tavern? What could I do with the Dormant Core? Maybe I’ll wait and buy one of the new dimensions. On second thoughts, I might just steer clear of Kestrel’s Cry Ravine, now all my snowy items are gone. Hmmmm, Sweet Valentine turned out so well, I was dreaming of creating a wedding dress to match. Stone Flask would suit a wedding scene beautifully. Ceremony in the barn, reception in the tavern … well that was an easy decision.
See I’m perking up and planning already. I wonder what new dimension adventures are in store?
